I am working on an op report and doctor has selected a code that we differ on and need another opinion. The short description of the surgery is"Low anterior resection of rectosigmoid junction with low pelvic anastomosis and diverting ileostomy." He used 44146. That code is with anastomosis and colostomy(large intestine). I suggested 44145 with 44310. Can anyone give an opinion on this? Thanks, Barb
