Can V67.59 be used as primary dx on clinic hospital f/u visit?

or should we use DX from hospitalization then v code?


Any help is greatly appreciated
 
This is a perfectly acceptable dx and needs no additional code. It is for a surveilance of a patient that no longer is having issues. You would not code the same dx as what the hospital encounter was for if the patient is now fine and just following up as ordered.
