We are treating patient with lung cancer with prophylactic radiation therapy. Speaking with one of my radiation oncologists, patient biologically has brain mets, BUT it can't be seen.

1. Can this be coded phrophylactic treatment? If so, should V07.8 be used?
2. Can this be coded as brain mets (198.3) if its biologically already there?
