I work for a spine surgeon and I have a question that he put on his proposed sx plan.
He wants to do an exploration of fusion mass at C5-6 and ACDF on 6-7.
I know how to code for the ACDF and I know to use code 22830 for the exploration but I’m not sure what to do code if he does find a mass and he wants to remove it?
Could you help me? I know it’s not an abscess.
