I am looking for some expertise on this. I have a surgeon who is performing a 19125 and is doing a layered closure and believes we should be able to bill 12032 in addition to 19125.

Any and all thoughts would be greatly approciated!!

Thanks!

19125 is a breast code, and you are expected to be in breast tissue, below dermal layers. Layered closure is expected.

If you have a Coders Desk Reference, you will see that the desscription of the code includes "layered closure".
