we have all sorts of coding software on our computers, but nothing beats the paper books for us, especially as backup. our boss does not feel they are necessary and is limiting us to only a couple of sets, and that is if she orders them at all. does anyone have any good pointers to argue our case for paper back ups for each of us??????

thanks!

The manuals themselves are the only official version of the material. Vendors (I've noticed) may or may not include all relevant guidelines or coding tips. In other words, they may exclude material that matters when choosing codes--that's one good point to make.
