Hello. Can some one help me with correctly coding the 92083 and 92133. My previous coder would use modifier 50 with both instead of rt and lt. Which is the correct way
92083-50
OR 92083-rt
92083-lt. Same for the 92133. Please help
 
Both codes have the following wording in the description "Unilateral or bilateral" That means the code describes the service being done on one side or both sides. 1 line for each code and no modifier
