Hi Needing help with the following - Please!
Colonoscopy to cecum,snare polypectomy of colonic poly o distal desceding colon, cold bx & polypectomy of colonic
poly of proximal rectum & Bx of rectal mass @ 2cm.

Also, just very confused as to when to use the 45383 code?

Use 45385 for the snare of polyp of descending colon, 45380-59 for the cold bx polyp removal of rectum. 45380 also applies to the bx of rectal mass but is not coded separately (45380 would only be reported once).
Coding would be: 45385
45380-59

Use 45383 when the polyp is fulgerated/cauterized (destroyed)
