Need help with CPT.
The physician states this is a cystoscopy, TUR small bladder tumor 1.5-3 cm behind the left ureteral orifice. (Path report says findings consistent with chronic cystitis. No tumor identified)
Cystoscopy revealed a tight urethral stenosis cystitis cystica throughout the surface of the bladder with a heavy area of erythema surrounding a whitish sessile plaque-like area behind the left ureteral orifice. Using the 26-French continuous flow resectoscope, this area was resected and the cautery was used to cauterize any bleeders. Specimens were sent to pathology. A 16-French Foley catheter was placed.
Any help is appreciated.
