Receiving denials from Fidelis Care of NY that z20.822 cant be listed as primary.. Just started last week..is anyone else having this issue? I cant find any language on this. It is my understanding that if the patient is asymptomatic and has known exposure that z20.822 is the primary code

That's correct per my encoder. Z20.822 may not be primary unless the patient is an inpatient. If the patient was experiencing symptoms, code them first and then Z20.822.
