I have been approached to code for a new practice of physicians. They are needing someone to code procedures and surgeries. I don't know what I should charge for this service. I was thinking a per procedure charge, but what amount? If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it.

Please check the AAPC's salary survey. I would present it to the manager which clearly shows what your services are worth. Good luck!;)
