I work for a ASC. I am having trouble finding a HCPCS code to get reimbursed for an ear tube placed during a tympanostomy.
Any suggestions would be great.

I work for a DME (Durable Medical Equipment) where we use HCPCS codes regularily. You would have to know the details of the tube that was used, look up the manufacturer on the internet and see if there is a code for it on their site. Hope this was helpful.
Or you might be call the manufacturer for the code. I did that for an item we needed a code for. I found it on their website.

I work in DME too & calling the mfg is usually the best route. Sometimes you can search here www.dmepdac.com/dmecsapp/do/search although the item you mentioned I not sure anything would come up. Good luck
