One of my mohs physicians excised a 1 cm ribbon around the entire diameter of a dermatofibrosarcoma tumor 14 cm by 8 cm from the scalp and neck. None of the tumor is taken just ribbon around the tumor. Another ENT doc will remove the tumor. Has anyone had experience with this type of excision. Can anyone help with CPT coding for this?
