Wiki help with obs. status & then inpatient

I have a patient that was admitted to obs. status on 1/17 & then made an inpatient on 1/19. For the date of service 1/18 would I use just the subsquent visit e/m?
 
Outpatient Established

For 1/18 when patient was still in observation status (technically outpatient) you would use the established patient visit codes 9921x
