I am in a newly created position as a physician coder in cardiology in a pediatric hospital. This is my first time coding cardiology and Cath Lab has me stumped. Can anyone point me in a good direction to get training?

You can get coding books that will help you from MedLearn.com or Z-HealthPubilshing.com. Both books are good, but the book from Z-health is more expensive, but will give you more guidelines on how to bill you cases.

Good luck to you,
Jim Pawloski, CIRCC
