Question for Inpatient Dx Coding!

A patient is scheduled for a hip replacement sx. About 3 days prior to surgery develops abdominal pain. Pt is admitted to hospital for treatment of abdominal pain which resolves, then stays for the scheduled right hip arthroplasty.
When the hospital bills for the inpatient stay, the principal Dx code submitted is 789.07, secondary codes include 715.95, and ICD-9 procedure code 81.51. The DRG for this is 468.

What is the correct principal Dx code?

The principal diagnosis is the condition after study that led to the admission. From the information given, that would be the abdominal pain.
