Patient has an ulceration with purulent drainage & necrotic granulation. The Doctor pulled out necrotic tissue (no mention as to what instrument used), small amt of pus was expressed & the cavity was probed to break up loculation. It then was packed with iodoform gauze.
The Doctor is reporting 10061 I&D of abscess but no incision was done. Is there another procedure that I could possibly report?
