Our physician did an arthroscopic decompression with distal clavicle resection and rotator cuff debridement. Am I correct in using 29822 for the debridement 29824 for the resection and 29826 for the decompression?

shoulder arthroscopy

It will depend upon what edits your health plans follow. 29822 is bundled. Per CCI in 2013 you are not able to override those edits for the shoulder as the shoulder is considered a contiguous unit. And in 2014 you are not able to bill for arthroscopic debridement in any joint (other than the knee with some exceptions) when done with any other arthroscopic procedure.
