When a TEE is performed probe only 93313. Anesthesiologist does dictate the procedure, but does it have to say in the dictation "Images from the trans esophageal echo probe will be sent to the cardiac echo lab to be read by cardiologist.

it would be wise to check the "documentation requirements" in your area's LCD for that code, check the CMS website for that info...
