hi there...when using code 226 (for a Hurthle cell nodule in thyroid)...am asked to use an additional code to identify any functional activity....this is where i get stumped...help?
 
Did you ever get an answer to this? For ICD-10 functional activity is a required add-on code and I am also stumped as to what they are looking for, I can't find anything in the guidelines. The only thing I can think of would be hypo/hyper thyroidism?? If you found any answers on this please let me know, thanks!!
