Hello I am working for a billing and coding company. I am being asked to change the name of a provider that saw a medicare patient to the name of another provider? what should I do?

the first question is why do they want you do this? and the second issue is no you cannot represent the service as being performed by a different provider. The exception is of course unless this is an NP or PA and it meets the criteria of incident -to.
