I have a Surgeon that did a cold knife conization. The pt started bleeding in PACU from a venous anomaly in another portion of the cervix. Pt was taken back to surgery and the Sturdorf sutures were opened up again. Surgeon sutured the bleed and also did a baseball suture around the cervix, but left the cervix open in case of more bleeding. Does anyone have any idea what code could be used for the procedure. I have looked at 57720, but am just not sure. Any idea's would be appeciated.
