Hi everyone,
Can someone please advise if there is any rule that became effective as of Jan 2023, that all Ventral/Incisional Hernia Post Ops can be billed as regular E&M visit?

I don't often code hernias, but the new hernia repair codes have 0 global days. The valuation of the new hernia codes does not include postop care. Any procedure with no global period would allow the provider to bill E&M services after the procedure. Look into the global period of the specific procedure billed.
