Hi,

Just want to verify if you can still code 768.70 on a 3y/o patient who is currently admitted in a long-term care facility. Patient had neonatal Asphyxia leading to Hypoxic-ischemic ncephalopathy which is the main reason for his admission to LTC. Patient is still dependent on ventilator due to this.
Would this code be denied if I made it as my primary dx?
