PT has HIVCD4 60 viral load nonexistent no h/o HIV complications but is on meds- do you code 042 or V08?

HIV positive, but never received treatment for HIV-related condition = V08.
ANY treatment directed towards HIV-related illness at ANY point in time after HIV diagnosis has been established, changes the code to 042. Once it's 042, it never goes back to V08. Hope that helps! ;)
