Why is the initial home health care admission note by a Registered nurse is sometimes coded with T1001-TD and sometimes it is coded with G0299 by the same payer (HSCSN). Similarly sometimes personal care aide's (PCA) sevices by home care agency are coded with T1019 and sometimes it is coded with T1004 by the same paryer (HSCSN)? I am struggling to understand what is the difference between these codes??? Why the smiliar services are coded with different codes.
