I work for a Geriatric practice and my doctors bill home health certs, G0180 & G0179, and we are debating on the time period a doctor needs to see the patient BEFORE the cert is billed. For example, does the doctor needs to see the patient within 6 months of the beginning of the cert period or is it 3 months?
