I read some of the previous posts on home health care billing and would appreciate it if someone could give me confirmation on how I am interpreting it.
We have home health forms for cert (485) and re-cert (486) which I am comfortable with using for our Medicare patients. When the patient is non-Medicare, what do you use? If 99374, is a copy of the form in the chart enough documentation to support this?
Also, new to me is the patients receiving initial plan of care for hospice services. How do you bill this?
