Help! I work in the auditing department that recently took on auditing of Home Health coding. There is no one in this department that has experience with HH. We have a copuple of questions; hope you can help.
1. The records that we are receiving do not include a progress ntoe form the physician evne for pts on the service for several weeks. Is there a requirement for physicians to document and, if so, what is the frequency required?
2. If the staff complete an intake form and the physician co-signs is that adequatefor coding?
