I HAVE A NP WHO WANTS TO START SEEING PTS (NEWBORNS) FOR THEIR FIRST VISIT SO THEY ARE NOT SUBJECTED TO UNHEALTHY PTS IN WAITING ROOM. I KNOW THE 99341-99350 CODES BUT IF IT IS A WELLNESS VISIT, CAN I DO THAT? IF SO HOW?:o

Preventive service codes for wellness visits don't have a place of service in their descriptors, so you should be able to bill those codes with place of service code '12' for a home location. I'm not sure if all payers will accept that location with the code, though - you'd have to check with your individual payers to see if they have any specific rules on this.
