Anyone out there willing to give me a crash course on wound care coding & billing? I feel like I am completely lost as it's not in my wheelhouse. I picked up an independent contractor role, and part of the role is wound care coding. I'm also open to any books, tools, etc., you can recommend. I know there are specialties like the AAP who have things like the Coding for Pediatrics book and the AAP Pediatric Coding Newsletter. I found that helpful when I started pediatric coding & billing. Is there something like this for wound care?
