I'm not sure where to ask this. I am working with a home wound care group comprised of two mid-level providers and an RN. Primarily the RN only does Low frequency, non-contact, non-thermal US treatments under the supervision of the Nurse Practitioners. However, they experienced a failure of the machinery and the RN ended up do the wound assessments and dressing changes only. My research indicates that these are non-billable services for this agency. Am I correct? Or is there is appropriate coding that we can bill out? TIA
