Hi. Hoping to get advice on reporting homelessness. Does it affect reimbursement, specially in mental health settings.

Yes if reported by clinician...add reason for this..no job, and ongoing chronic illness, disabled, drug addiction, no education, depressed, alien resident status, ongoing grief or physical pain of muscles. Check out blocks of Z59 use as last dx .But the state office ,OIG & or CMS at end of year look at data from a mental health center. If living in shelter put that data in documentation too. The SDOH is a big thing the past year and now.....I believe affect funds collected.
