We have a doctor that goes to a long term acute care facility to see patients & that facility also has a certain amount of beds that are reservered for hospice patients. If our doctor sees the hospice patients for numerous diagnosis as well as the hospice diagnosis, how would we bill for this? Do we bill the patients insurance w/a GW modifier? Or do we send the claims thru hospice?? She is not on the board for hospice.
