HELLO -
I HAVE A DOCTORS DOING TRIAGE OVER THE PHONE FOR PATIENTS AT THE HOSPITAL, THEY ARE CALLED WITH RESULTS AND MANAGE RESULTS OVER THE PHONE. SHE ISN'T GOING IN AND SEEING THE PT FACE TO FACE.

WHAT ARE SUGGESTIONS ON HOW THIS SHOULD BE CODED?

MY UNDERSTANDING IS ALL HOSPITAL CODES MUST MERIT FACE TO FACE VISIT WITH PATIENT.

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!
