Good afternoon,
Can anyone tell me what E/M codes would be used if:
A) The Dr. saw her established patient as an inpatient the next morning after a heart cath (0 Global). He examined the pt and wrote a note and gave the pt a discharge plan follow-up. What E/M code selection would be used?
B) The Dr. is assigned to be the attending. He will be seeing inpatients as a consultant as a teaching service.after the fellows and/or residents will see the patient. The Dr. will then make rounds with them. What E/M code ranges apply to this?
