A medical center has a concern when it comes to billing their patients appropriately stemming from manufactures initiating a "CAP Construct pricing system", vs. a "line item" pricing system that was previously in effect. This change has been in effect for just shy of 1 year now and the hospital has been struggling to find ways to take their system of "charging patients a certain cost per implant used", and changing to charging them a "total case price of the combined implants used". At this point, how do they work through this process (note that they utilize the "Lawson" software processing system).
