Can a hospital visit be billed along with a nonstress test (NST)? Example: Can a 99222 be reported in addition to a 59025-26? My initial thought is that you cannot unless the hospital visit addresses another unrelated problem and if it's not, bill for the highest of the 2 codes, which in our case would be the 99222. Any guidance or direction?
