Wiki How are your ED worklists/reports divided amongst coders?

My company is acquiring a new ED client and management is coming up with a method to divide up the visits to each ED coder. Currently they are having each coder work a particular date of service, and we're all just listed on a calendar and work that DOS until done, then find our next DOS.

At my old ED job, we all had live access to the queue, and fought for the next one listed......

Just curious how other ED coders were distributed their work lists.....??
