If CPT code 66984 includes $150.00 for the cost of the lens, how do you code a cataract extraction when the lens is supplied by the vendor free of charge? We, the ASC, did not buy the lens, it was supplied free of charge by the vendor. If I code 66984 that will be an overpayment of $150.00 by the insurance company. Any help would be appreciated.
