I was posed this scenario and I am not sure of the answer:

An OBGYN sends a high risk patient to one of our providers, both of these MD's will follow the patient through out her pregnancy as needed (not sure how many visits will incurr with each provider). Some of the patient's will be delivered by the high risk provider and some with the patient's OBGYN. Does the provider who ends up delivering the patient get to bill the global and the other provider bills per visit?
