I have a interview August 11 for a risk adjustment coder position at humana. Any tips on how to prepare. I have my cpc no a but have worked mainly in insurance verification and prior authorizations for a major hospital. Any tips or input would be so appreciated.

Brush up on ICD-10-CM rules, including knowing the codes that are risk adjusted and what MEAT or TAMPER criteria will be used. If you have time, look up CRC certification (AAPC) and read about Medicare Advantage plans. You don't need to be an expert; just know how/why you'll be coding the way you will.
