This is a follow-up question because I just encountered an Initial
Preventive as the HPI but during the course of the Physical
Exam.the physician find an abnormality or a different problem like
elevated HTN but the patient has a history of HTN.Final assesement
V70.0 and HTN where the physician wrote a prescription for HTN
and order Lab.for V70.0.
My question is can I bill for an additional NEW sick visit
and what level since I don't have the component in the HPI
in order to meet the 3 out 3 elements for a new patient?
