My question is in regard to CMS Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) Eligibility.

Do these apply to professional Part B Emergency Medicine physician services rendered in facilities that fall into the designated HPSA eligible zip codes?

I thought they did, but someone in our office indicated the CMS language was not clear on that for ED professional part B services.
