I bill for the professional services of a pathology office out of Ohio. We have three doctors on staff. I submitted several claims to humana medicare all of which are denying with a reason of "a coding eror was detected . the procedure code billed is not correct /valid for the provider orplace of treatment submitted." the problem is that they are only denyiing one of our doctors if i have two docs on one claim they pay for one but continue to deny the other. we then determined that they did not have her listed as a pathologist. that has since been corrected i then resubmitted the claims but i am still getting the same denial. i have tried asking the reps exactly what they are seeing so that i may send in a corrected claim but they just keep repeating the denial to me. HELP I AM AT MY WITS END
