I am in Az. I am having an issue with Humana and Pap smears. The Humana rep says if the "lab" code is not on the Humana National lab table, it is not payable. The normal Pap code of Q0091 is not on there. We do thin prep paps. How else am I supposed to bill this then? The only 2 other codes on this lab table in reference to paps are 87205 and 87210 neither are suitable to what we do. Can anyone help me?:confused:
