We have a patient who is receiving IV hydration and Invanz at the same infusion site and time frame. We are trying to determine if 96361 can be billed in addition to the primary code 96365. Some in our office are saying yes, it can be billed, but some say no it cannot be billed, since it is not a separate or subsequent service after a different initial service. Since 96360 is not being billed, does this preclude billing of 96361? Any clarification or help would be appreciated. Thank you.
