I am wondering if I can code/charge (CPT) for IV hydration prior to a CT scan (with or without contrast) and, if so, whether this is allowed only with specific diagnoses? We are having a hard time finding an exact rule in this regard. I should specify that I am asking with regard to FACILITY coding. Thank you in advance!!!
