We are excising redundant hymenal ring tissue under local in office and insurance is denying place of service 11 for 56700. What other cpt code can we use for office setting?

I would appeal. This procedure is done with local anesthesisa and can be performed in office.

They follow Medicare guidelines and per their fee schedule anything with a N/A for facility fee is not allowed in office is what I am being told. They only have fee schedule for facility.
