Is there anyone with expirience billing hyperbaric oxygen that can help me with a few questions??? I am new to billing HBO and really need some help.
1. Do your MD's bill for any conscious sedation during the patients dive?
2. I am billing for the physician and we are the ones supervising the dive; I think they would get the C1300 and we would bill the 99183. The facility is already billing the 99183 and the C1300 and our MD is essentially not getting paid for his time. Can we bill the 99183 as well or how are you doing this in your practice?
3. Are you billing for MD supervision for more than one patient at time if you have say 3 patients in 3 different chanbers in the same room?
